Safe Steps When Cooking

June 30th, 2008

In the home, accidents do happen. The kitchen can be a dangerous place to be if safety precautioons are not in place and people behave sensibly.

We are all aware of small children in a kitcchen and we put hot cooking utensils out of reach, and move sharp knives from the kitchen drawers so we minimize the risks of accidents happening.

However, when the the food is moved outside on a nice summers day, what happens? Safety seems to be left indoors with the pots and pans and forgotten about!

Barbeques and grills are very popular and yet, they have the potential to be extremely dangerous and sadly every year some people do become casulties of a grill or barbeque that ended badly.

I came across http://www.grillatgrill.com that offers good advice and tips about grilling. Stay safe!

Clever Cookware: Stainless Steel Charcoal Grill

June 18th, 2008

If you buy a cheap grills chances are it won’t make it through the summer. Unlike good cookware they usually rust out rather quickly, and this is caused by damage from the fire. I never thought it was a good idea to spend a good amount of money on something we won’t use very often, but I think if I invested in stainless steel charcoal grill that I will take better care of it, and I know it will not do the same thing that the cheap versions tend to do. I would rather spend money on something that will last, and I wish I had come to that conclusion earlier.
